Children's Specialized Hospital overall provides excellent care for children, with a dedicated and knowledgeable staff. While my overall experience was positive, I did encounter a challenge with a nurse during my son's care with a fixator. Despite this, the hospital's commitment to pediatric care and the expertise of most of the staff contribute to its reputation as a reliable healthcare facility for children. I never usually write a review unless my experience was absolutely horrific so here goes. My baby was sent here from Morgan Stanley Hospital. She was placed in a room with another child who was on isolation. After voicing my concerns and questioning why was my child placed in a room with a pt who is on isolation. I was told by Nicole the Nursing supervisor along with Dr Zalewitz and her NP Catherine who was very RUDE!! That as per CDC guidelines this was allowed as long as they were 3 feet away. How dare people discriminate others because their backgrounds may be different, but their children’s are USA citizens every human being deserves compassion and respect and this hospital sure lacks that.I can’t imagine the trauma most parents are already facing having a child hospitalized for long periods of time and to top it off the staff unprofessionalism towards them,is inhumane and it needs to change.
