Very nice place to bring your kids when they are unwell. The nurses are very kind
This place is not what I expected. My son came here with a brain injury and Dr. Y insisted of helping him did the opposite. He doesn’t listen to parents. I had concerns regarding my sons over production of saliva due to injury and he did nothing as a matter of fact he said the medication I asked for would not help w out even trying it. Due to my son holding on to saliva he got pneumonia and is regressing instead of progressing. This hospital treated my daughter Sophia for her very serious seizure on the ventilator. The nurses were amazing compared to other hospitals. The doctors kept me informed and were knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.
Our experience at Children’s Specialized Hospital inpatient rehab was wonderful. My daughter was treated with kindness, compassion, and respect by everyone on the team. The wound care nurse was gentle, patient, and incredibly caring. The social worker was very helpful and supportive, guiding us through everything. Carly (PT) and Hannah (OT) were exceptional. Nina K, RN - a nurse at the nicu- probably one of the most nasty people you would ever meet. Has no compassion and has negative energy. She lets her ego take over her job. While doing her job she was just yapping to her friends talking about her in-laws not liking her (not a surprise) and giving dirty looks to parents and getting involved in situations she is not wanted. Highly unprofessional and honestly she has no place being a nurse in the nicu.
