We’ve had a great experience at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Bayonne. My son received OT, Speech, and PT services, and every therapist has been knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind. Everyone, from security officer, to the front desk (shout out to Carmen 🫶), always made us feel welcome. A special thank you to Ms. Jacklyn, Mr. Candan, and Ms. Anastasia for going above and beyond for my son. Getting a therapy slot can sometimes take time, but the waitlist moves and it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
Parents are expected to sign in on time by phone and at the kiosk, yet therapists still come out late and children don’t always receive their full session time. Professionalism and consistency should go both ways. This is not fair to the child!
Jennifer was my daughter's speech therapist, she was absolutely amazing! Very patient and friendly.. always a joy to be in the room with.. She was very helpful with helping get an aac device . My daughter absolutely loved her! Definitely recommend
Our therapist was Jaclyn. She help my son so much with transition and being able to slow down and take the time to do each activity. She was patient and helped set up simple rules for him to follow each session. Also redirected him anytime he did anything dangerous. Highly recommend
I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service and professionalism at this facility, particularly in the front desk and scheduling process. From the very beginning, there were serious issues with the referral process from the primary doctor, which was handled incorrectly and caused unnecessary delays before treatment could even begin.
