We waited five+ hours. There were many other patients prioritized before us. Don’t be stupid like us and come here. If we could’ve just opted for Urgent Care, we would’ve just waited but for a head injury. They don’t even have the courtesy to provide a place for water or ice. So five hours, just to be dehydrated or spend a lot of money in the vending machine.
The children’s mn St.Paul is horrible on how they take in patients. My son was waiting for over two hours when the waiting time was 30 to 60 minutes. After one hour and half it changed to 1 to 2 hours wait time. People who have come after us were checked in served and left while we’re waiting. I've gone to 3 locations and all are amazing! Samantha Renfroe and Dr. Roby I have had the pleasure of dealing with my own son. My son is a 10 yr old autistic child and he has never been treated with more respect or people talking to him about things, not just me. I could type a million words and it still wouldn't be enough. I help disabled and autistic adults get meaningful jobs in their communities. Yep, you guessed it, we've had someone there for 12 years. Personally, professionally, Children's is the best. Period.
took our toddler to have his tonsils & adenoids removed. extremely kind nurses and doctors. dr roby is both lovely in her bedside manner but also clear in her explanations of the surgery and aftercare. steve was an absolute rockstar nurse in particular - him and Jamie! our room was big and we were constantly offered toys and ice cream and anything our son could’ve needed. discharged the next day and feeling good enough to go to the playground down the street when we got home (:
