So glad we found this Children’s MN clinic a few years ago! We have had only great experiences so far and it is nice to have local care with walk-in capabilities sometimes. Staff have all been friendly and caring, whether in person or on the phone.
I have been with PIP since 1999. In the past 5 years, or actually since you switched to CHILDREN’S, things have become awful. It has increasingly gotten worse in the last 2-3 years. I actually dread coming in or making phone calls for appointments. It’s very disappointing and disheartening, because this is for the care of my children! Pros: easy scheduling and provider messaging via the Healow app. The nurse line is so helpful and each nurse I’ve talked to has been kind and provided helpful advice. Cons: expect LONG wait times for walk ins and scheduled appointments. Average wait 30-45 minutes with and without an appointment. You also won’t get a heads up about how long you’ll wait for the scheduled appointment. They’re at least good about it for ready care. I scheduled an appointment a month ago for my daughters well child check. We get to the clinic they put us in a room to be waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes than get told they have 1 more patient before us and they don't know how long that will be and if we wanted to we could just leave. So my daughter didn't get her 6 year well child check. This is unacceptable.
