My daughter just had her year vaccines and we had a horrible experience with the nurse. She didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing, she gave us the wrong information and was not friendly. She didn’t even clean the area before giving her the shots. I was so shocked but she did it so fast I couldn’t even react. This is not the first time we have had a bad experience. I’m going to find a new pediatrician.
Wellness check have screenings/testing available but are an additional charge for hearing and vision. They won’t mention this (probably on purpose) and stick you with the bill. When you call and complain they tell you to take it up with your insurance. When you talk to them they tell you to take it up with MetroPeds. Billing representatives don’t return phone calls either.
Dr. Anderson is very sweet and kind with my child and talks on her level. She just told me this evening that she loves getting a shot after our visit. I feel like the doctor listens well and is transparent about his care.
Terrible billing service. We have been taking our kids here for years and absolutely will not take them ever again. Countless mistakes and over charges. Sent to collections over mistake charges. Doctors tacked on extra out of pocket charges for routine visits after explicitly stating we had no desire to be charged for additional activities. Several other issues that violated trust that cannot be described here.
