My daughter has been a patient of Simsbury Pediatrics for more than 10 years now. We started seeing Dr. Johnston who was my husband's pediatrician. She has since retired and we now see Dr. Ladenheim. However when it's a last minute appointment due to a quick on-set of an illness with my daughter, we often see Judy Greene, APRN; or any other Doctor who is available. We love them all. Unlike Baystate Medical Pediatrics in Massachusetts who was our former pediatric office before we moved to Connecticut, Simsbury Pediatrics NEVE... read more

I have been taking all 4 of my daughters there for 2 years now and HIGHLY recommend them. I have recommended them to several friends. Dr. Ladenheim is their regular Dr and I cannot rave about her enough. We have also seen Dr. Pericat, Dr. Sloan and Dr. Sabo - all of whom I like a lot. Judy Greene, the APRN is fabulous. The office runs on time and I have never had a problem getting in for a sick visit, even on the weekend.

STAY A WAY – I have been with Simsbury pediatric for over 3 years now. They have few decent doctors but you never get a chance to see them, unless you have a scheduled appointment in advance. When you child is running a high fever, or a cough you have to go in and see who ever is free. One of the biggest complaints that I have, is that the Drs. In that office like to guess a lot on diagnoses instead of running tests right a way. Last time my daughter was running a high fever (she is 1.5 years old), I had to take her there 3 ... read more

Great, Just Great! – I love this group. We had a baby in May and was referred to the group by a friend. They were wonderful in suggesting that we meet with each of the practitioners before choosing a Primary Care Physican for my son. They will meet you in the office on Easter Sunday if needed! I had to call when my son was 6 weeks old and experiencing some distress--they stayed on the phone with me for quite awhile-not only to guarentee that the boy was ok, but that I could cope with what was going on. They are very understa... read more

Too quick... – Had a physical with Lois, a nurse practitioner and it lasted about five minutes. The medical history and question part of the exam took about 10 minutes; something doesn't seem right with that. I spent more time waiting than anything else. I've had better experiences with Lisa, another nurse practitioner in the practice.

Very good practice – I have gone to this practice since I was a child. I now have 3 children of my own, and we all still go, as well as most of my extended family. I have always found the staff to be polite and competant. I usually see Dr. Bentley, who I find to be compassionate, kind, and very knowledgeable. On the rare occasions that he hasn't been able to see me right away I have seen most of the other physicians and been happy with them as well. I feel this entire practice upholds very high standards of medical care, and... read more

Marlborough Family Practice – My husband and I, and our 3 children before they grew up and moved away, have been patients of Dr. Tuttle for 30 years. One of the most reassuring things about him is that on occasion, I've actually heard him say, "I don't know." That honest admission always wins my admiration; I can't think of a more dangerous doctor to have than one who speaks from a pedestal and thinks (or acts as if) he or she knows everything. Dr. Tuttle thinks out loud, listens to me, and gives his reasons for the treatmen... read more

Fair review – Like the medial industry everywhere else its all about money. I once had one of the doctors here refer me to a physical therapist for neck pain. She looked at me for 15 minutes and said there wasn't anything wrong with my neck. I saw the bill she sent my insurance company. $890 for 15 minutes. That's obscene. And to add insult to injury, my neck still hurt. No matter what, no matter the circumstances, if you can't see something wrong here you need to go to an eye doctor, (ha, ha)

useless doctors/Dr. Bentley – I agree with the woman who had a horror experience. This office is useless, rude, and clueless! As far as the doctor goes he would be better off shoveling sewer. Dr. Bentley told a patient of twenty years who complained of extreme headaches to take Xanax and go to sleep. After questioning this, we got a second opinion. The new doctor sent for an MRI and found out it was a brain tumor! Had we not questioned Dr. Bentley and went elsewhere this would have been fatal.
