Had a great experience bringing our daughter here recently. The doctors and nurses were awesome and in particular Dr. Engels may have been the single best doctor I have ever seen. Very professional and knowledgeable and patient, made sure we understood everything both as a technical and non-technical audience. However, do note that scheduling our appointment here was NOT a good experience. There is much room for improvement and communication amongst staff handling scheduling.
Five stars for the actual hospital staff. It was a lovely stay for my daughter, and they were extremely compassionate for my partner and I during an extremely traumatic time. I was blown away with how well we were treated by both day and night nurses and doctors. The hospital is extremely clean and security staff is compassionate, understanding and nice as well. I was diagnosed with Guillaume Barre Syndrome when I was 17 years old. When I was released from the hospital, I was paralyzed from the extensive neurological damage and was given a script for physical therapy three times per week to gain back what I lost. When I say Heather and Carolyn were my rocks, I do not say it lightly. They took me from walking heavily on a cane, to past where I was even before I became sick! I cannot give this place more props! I had to take my 2 year to get her heart scanned and checked and the entire experience was amazing! They let me lay down with her and she fell right asleep during the scan! Wish I got the ladies name who did her scan but she was the sweetest and I couldn’t thank her enough. Dr. Brad McQuilken saw my daughter and told her results and he was by far the kindest doctor I have ever met.
