My granddaughter was admitted on 10/23/2022 and was found to have RSV. When I saw that the hallways were full of sick kids. I was afraid that we would be one of them lined up in the hallway. And we were. 15 minutes after stating at triage, they put us in a hallway slot than a Resident came to evaluate my granddaughter. 10 minutes later, the emergency room physician came that physician moved my granddaughter to a room so she can evaluate her and get her on oxygen and call respiratory to start treatments. The Child Life's School Teacher- Denise is by far, hands down the best teacher or child life member we could ask for. My son has spent a lot of time in CHM over the last decade and whenever we are admitted we always look so very forward to seeing Denise. She is a light on the dark days. Someone who my son feels safe with and comfortable. He feels happy and supported. She always makes everything fun and most of the time its just so much laughter.
