My baby was a recently hospitalized in the 5-picu and although the staff were pleasant my experience was less than satisfying. My main concern is that a lot of the nurses seemed new and inexperienced. My baby was poked numerous times back to back by so many different people and when I inquired about these multiple blood draws I was given many different explanations. This is going to be a long positive review! My 9 month old daughter has had two separate stays here, one was a week long observatory stay, and one was a three day in patient stay that began in the observatory. Selena had been sick since March, and it is so frustrating as a parent to not get answers from anyone, not her PCP, henry ford, or urgent cares.
