I do not understand why you have to give even a 1 star. Just know the star ⭐️ is NOT by choice!! My daughter has been having high fevers over 100.0 since August 1st, along with other symptoms. We came to the children’s ER TWICE and they never checked her for anything except a uti, which she doesn’t have. They made us sit for hours each time only to send us home and say “Take Tylenol and Ibuprofen for lowering the fevers,” but as a concerned parent, I observe my baby and know that lowering fevers is one thing, but getting to ... read more

There's no sense in a child waiting THREE hours to be seen by a nurse for a respiratory infection, yet that's where we're at. I know for a fact that all the rooms in the emergency ward aren't taken up all day, every say. I've already contacted a friend that's working the unit RIGHT NOW and he told me there were currently 6 beds open so he's not sure why no one is being called back. This place has stooped so low in the last ten years, it's disgusting. Hire nurses and doctors that care, or just shut down already.

This was the worst experience of my life sitting there for five hours with my child in pain. Bathrooms were disgusting, toilet seats, broken pee, and feces on the floor. Homeless people near the bathroom, asking for rides home. One security person walks around every two hours felt very unsafe and unsanitary. Then they had the nerve to ask me to do a yelp review! That was only the first part. I will be reaching out to the hospital director about what else we experienced.

I won’t just sit on this as I’m still upset. I hope that this can help change some things as it’s the only pediatric ER around. We were quickly seen when we arrived as my 9mth olds O2 was at 88 and she had tachycardia with a fever that had relief with alternating Motrin/tylenol. The nurses in the ER did not listen to me when I explained my daughter’s rolling veins that I have as well. I told them you cannot set up the IV or draw blood from the veins on her inner arms. They did it anyway and blew both sides. The doctors in ER... read more
