This was the worst experience of my life sitting there for five hours with my child in pain. Bathrooms were disgusting, toilet seats, broken pee, and feces on the floor. Homeless people near the bathroom, asking for rides home. One security person walks around every two hours felt very unsafe and unsanitary. Then they had the nerve to ask me to do a yelp review! That was only the first part. I will be reaching out to the hospital director about what else we experienced.
I won’t just sit on this as I’m still upset. I hope that this can help change some things as it’s the only pediatric ER around. We were quickly seen when we arrived as my 9mth olds O2 was at 88 and she had tachycardia with a fever that had relief with alternating Motrin/tylenol. The nurses in the ER did not listen to me when I explained my daughter’s rolling veins that I have as well. I told them you cannot set up the IV or draw blood from the veins on her inner arms. Absolutely would NOT recommend this place.
Definitely would not recommend after sitting for 7 hours from 7pm-2am and my son still was not seen we decided to leave ! The wait time is ridiculous
