People do not seem to understand that the emergency room is for emergencies and you will triaged based on need. Sprained ankles, fevers or ear infections are not prioritized, which means you will wait. I've come in with my son suffering an anaphylactic attack and were seen right away. That's what I expect from the emergency department.
Thank you for listening to my concerns about my child and helping him get better. The nurses are so caring and made my son comfortable during exams.
Came in at midnight, after waiting till morning found out at 11AM that my child’s name was taken off the queue despite not leaving the waiting area, despite walking up to the nursing area multiple times to confirm that we were still on the list. No apologies were made for the mistake. A nurse even tried to make it my fault. Ending up leaving the hospital at 1:30pm after we were seen by a physician Assistant and forgotten in a hallway. Great staff. We had a quick time seeing the doctor. Friendly faces and they made my daughter feel welcome and comfortable
