We will no longer be using Children's for any sort of outpatient care. They charge facility fees on top of specialist fees, which amounted to over a $500 out of pocket cost. We were not made aware that it would be this much prior to our visit. Deceptive billing practices run rampant at this place. Look elsewhere for care for your little one or you'll be hit with a massive bill. Absolutely disgusting.
I have worked with Childrens hospital for about 4 years. Everything was great until my son who is developmentally delayed mind you was ordered an MRI at this location. It was awful. The Nurse Eryn was an extremely rude and pushy person. She watched as we STRUGGLED to get our son dressed. They gave him no time to wake up coming out of anesthesia. The most excellent staff I have ever seen in any hospital. Their patience and ability to excel at pediatric emergency care is unmatched. They were so incredible with my daughter. Cori and Alex were exceptional and we could not be more thankful for everything they did.
Children's hospital? = Children's money machine! For an simple allergy test, we have to pay $$ for the doctor's time, and on top of that, we have to pay the Children's hospital room and equipment fee. Really?! This hospital is build for children to use? NO! It is for children to pay when thy come in and sit in one of the rooms.
