I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Patel. Our appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM, and the office has a 15-minute grace period. We arrived at 3:47 PM, just two minutes beyond that window and were told we would not be seen because Dr. Patel was already preparing to go home. We had waited approximately three months for this appointment and had a follow up, so being turned away after driving more than an hour in heavy traffic and extreme Texas heat was very frustrating. Dr. Armstrong is truly exceptional! She is the most caring and sweet doctor I have ever come across. My son, who is autistic and typically struggles with making eye contact, felt so at ease with her. Dr. Armstrong has a remarkable way with words that captivated my son's attention - he even made eye contact with her! We were able to get an appointment with the Allergy clinic quickly, which we were very grateful for. My son has been battling severe eczema for a while and were hoping to get a lot of answers with this visit. Unfortunately for us, Dr. Patel refused to do allergy testing stating that even if we received a a positive result, we would still need to continue exposing him to the allergin to prevent a severe allergy, so testing was unnecessary. I agree with continung to expose him to the allergen, but I don't with not testing. We ... read more
