I would love to give a huge shout out to Doctor Brook Thompson in the Women and children’s Emergency Room he came in and explained everything to me and my wife to make sure that we understood everything they were saying he filled the room with such passion for medicine and sunshine even for him being on his last hour of a 24 hour shift he was amazing
I took my daughter to University Children’s Hospital last night because she was wheezing and had a fever over 102°. She was clearly struggling and getting worse right in front of me. Despite that, we were left sitting in the lobby for over 2.5 hours with no updates, no urgency, and no concern from staff. What made the situation even more upsetting was watching multiple people who arrived after us be taken back immediately. ER 14 hour wait. Waste of time .. No other hospital makes a patient wait this long. 🤦♀️.
The wait times are unacceptable. You need to hire more staff.
