We had to drove from Petaluma to San Francisco, this past Saturday. After 2 visits to Providence hospital emergency room in Petaluma on Tuesday. And After 1 visit at Santa Rosa Providence emergency room. First hospital only said my 4 yrd daughter was having ear discomfort due to ear infection. The Doctor my daughter had her last day of hospitalization was the best. She gets 10 stars in my book. So why the 3 stars The other doctors and mental health team wanted to do what's very popular in CA and blame the parent without actually taking into consideration what's happening with the child/teen. I had always felt comfortable seeking care for my children at this location however, after my most recent experience, I have completely changed my mind. My 3 yo son was referred here for fever and rule out appendicitis, the initial doctor that assessed my son at a local urgent care was convinced that an ultrasound had to be done and that my son required a higher level of care.
