The Doctor my daughter had her last day of hospitalization was the best. She gets 10 stars in my book. So why the 3 stars The other doctors and mental health team wanted to do what's very popular in CA and blame the parent without actually taking into consideration what's happening with the child/teen. My daughter was self harming to which neither the mental health team nor other doctors (besides the last one we seen) seen any issue with all the marks on her arms. I had always felt comfortable seeking care for my children at this location however, after my most recent experience, I have completely changed my mind. My 3 yo son was referred here for fever and rule out appendicitis, the initial doctor that assessed my son at a local urgent care was convinced that an ultrasound had to be done and that my son required a higher level of care. Nurse was rude - did not check in on my daughter until she was called 3 hours later . When I asked when labs were going to be drawn , I was told there are no orders in. treatment felt condescending and disrespectful. l feel genuine compassion from a small percentage of the staff, otherwise they are indifferent and even dismissive of parent concerns! ATTENDING was not in ? ALL staff were sitting down not doing much but chatting away . Horrible ED experience- SO BROKEN
