I have sponsored a couple children. The first one, I sponsored until she was 16 and after I couldn’t sponsor her anymore, I was given another child to sponsor. Such an amazing experience to watch them grow up. I often wonder about my first child, who seemed like my own. Now, I have another child and I love her too. Please stop with the door-to-door soliciting. Your volunteers are rude and won’t listen to residents who don’t want to hear their speech. It’s 2019, figure out a different way to do business...no one wants you at their door interrupting precious time. 👎👎👎

Children International automatically subscribed me to support a new child after my previously supported child aged out and required me to send an email or make a phone call to unsubscribe. While I do not regret supporting a child for 10 years, I had enough annoyances over the years with the organization that I had personally decided to only support the organization until that child aged out of the program and do not appreciate the hoops I have to go through to stop my support.

A great experience! I sponsored a child in Chile about 20 years ago. Through the power of Facebook we have become reunited and communicate often via Messenger. She is now (today in fact) age 30, and she has a beautiful Son. I am grateful to still be connected with her, and am considering signing up again to Sponsor a child!
