My wife and I were volunteers last night at the Jeremy Camp and Mercy Me concert in South Florida. Mark, Tobin, and the other staff members were awesome to work with. We pray that each and every child in the world are sponsored one day and come to know the saving Grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Absolutely the WORST experience in trying to support a child in Dominican Republic! We are teaching our 6 year old grandson the value of money & how to tithe/support a child in need, and we received a picture/letter from the child right away. Then we sent an $80 box of Christmas gifts at the end of November so it would have plenty of time to get there...but it never did. BTW: do NOT buy the extra insurance from a shipper - even the post office, b/c they will tell you that as soon as it leaves the states, NO MORE INSURANCE. W... read more
