I was a foster youth in their transitional housing program. Wonderful agency. They helped me get through college.
I volunteer fairly regularly with these great people, and they really care about the children and families they work with. When I am in a position to foster children It will definitely be with Children First. They hold large gatherings regularly to give the families a sense of community, and help with transportation needs. All around a good organization that strives to make you feel like family.
This company is terrible. My wife and I were very excited to become foster parents, but Children's First kept making mistake after mistake, and gave our private information to people they shouldn't have. When we upset about it and complained they told us they were going to de-certify us as foster parents when we had done nothing wrong.
