I called Childers to repair repair a garage door rail, replace a post, wiring, and reattach track. I got a phone estimate that was flexible and very reasonable. Next morning a serviceman of very few words listened, looked, and proceeded to do all that was asked, and then cleaned up. The cost was less than the estimate, and the repair is solid. They let their work speak, and I appreciate it. Thank you.

I wanted to pass along kudos for Childers Door Service in Hudson, IL. I know you get mostly complaints, but wanted to tell you of business that has great business ethics. They replaced a gargage opener (13 years old) that had a lifetime warentee I never would have even know about had they not told me. That's what I call integrity.

Just transfering to the area, I had know idea who to contact about getting a new remote for my homes garage doors. After a couple of calls I found Childers Door Service of Central Illinois, LLC. They walked me thru finding the information to replace my remotes. They even had them in stock. I did not have any idea where Hudson was! They gave me simple directions: North on Veterans Parkway, out of town to four way stop. Turn left and go about 2 miles, then turn right the first road after the Casey's store. Family owned business that has been around for about 30 years. Honest and hardworking. Fair price for repairs and products. When you call in you get excellent service and they are willing to talk to you about small things you can check before scheduling a service call. They sell doors that they believe in.
