Dr. Richard Rabeeh was dismissive and judgmental during my care as a minor, particularly regarding complex chronic conditions such as POTS and EDS. I have treatment resistant depression, trauma-linked dissociation, nervous system burnout, and chronic pain that significantly affect my functioning. Dr. Richard Rabeeh is extremely judgmental, critical, and unhelpful when treating patients with chronic illnesses such as POTS and EDS. He made unfounded assumptions about my health, including accusing me of being anorexic by saying “you’re swimming in your clothes!”, despite my nutritional issues from EDS and nausea from POTS. He even assumed I might have autism simply because my illness limits my ability to socialize. Dr. Lee is phenomenal. We are so grateful o have her as part of our child’s care.
Dr Lee is incredibly supportive. She takes time to listen and makes herself available by phone to provide support. She has been an amazing support to our son.
My daughter saw Dr. Khaliq for several sessions. My daughter did not feel listened to and that Dr. Khaliq made a quick assessment and diagnosis that didn't completely fit. My daughter was also seeing a well respected psychologist for a long period of time who believed that she may have ADHD on top of other things. She thought that trying a med for ADHD might be helpful to see if it made a difference but Dr. Khaliq refused to to do it or entertain the idea of ADHD.
