I am one of the children that has been seen at this clinic and I know from just my initial consultation that it will be of no help. My father took me here to make me better but it has in fact done the complete opposite. The amount of money my father needs to spend on me for me to go there has made my mental state significantly worse. He tries to reassure me that he is fine spending this amount of money to make me better but he does not understand that the money aspect is making me worse. Sasha was so warm and friendly from the outset. We have had quite a time with mental health services and my daughter is very suspicious. This completely changed my daughter’s perception and so utterly relieved my daughter has proper mental health care again. We can’t recommend Sasha highly enough.
our appointment was due to start at 1pm however, at 125pm no one had greeted us, I eventually knocked on a door to be told the previous appointment was running over. We only received 40 minutes of our 1 hour alloted time. I am hoping the report will provide me with more clarity then I left the appointment with.
We chose to see Dr Sasha based on her excellent ratings from previous clients and it was absolutely the right decision. She was kind, thorough, and completely understood our 15yo and the struggles she is currently facing. Our daughter rarely feels comfortable interacting with strangers but before half of the appointment was over, Dr Sasha had her responding and even making a joke or two by the end. The understanding, expertise and guidance Dr Hvidsten provided to us as parents seeking support for our son was a breath of fresh air that is hard to find. To fully understand what we might not as parents see, to identify the struggles of a young Neurodivergent teen and articulate this in a way we could understand and make sense of as parents, this has been invaluable to me.
