My daughter is 18 and she was there for a week. Everyone was nice to her. They helped her and gave her resources she needed. She received her medication as planned and she was also transportated to a court hearing. Do not let other reviews scare you. She had a great experience here. She stayed at the shelter.
Tried charging me 600 dollars for absolutely nothing. They didn't help me at all with my mental health. Didn't even keep me as a patient so I'm honestly not sure what they even charged me for. All I did was check in and talk to a woman for an hour. Idk how that's worth even charging someone for when you claim to be there to help the community. Literally would've been better off venting to a random person on the streets.
Do not trust the people at this facility. They will look you in the eye and lie to you with a smile on their face about even minor details. They do not respect you. Counselors will feign interest in what you're saying and take poor notes. Do not go here. Do not trust the New Bedford Child and Family Services Office.
