I wish it was taken seriously 20+ yrs ago, having a stepparent that ridiculed, belittled, was condescending & physically abusive planted a demon. I can't blame my parents for any of the poor choices I've made. It did however it did mold me, tarnish my self image, give me self doubt self hatred. I mean how could she think what she was doing OK? I wonder if she treates her own granddaughters remotely the same? I think not.
I will never stop singing the praises of CAPA or being grateful for our counselor who we were blessed to have in our lives during the hardest time we ever faced. If you need help, call CAPA.
