My family and I make it a point to stop by Chi'Lantro every time we're in Austin. The food is always amazing, fresh, and full of flavor. We absolutely love this place and have never been disappointed. It's definitely one of our favorite spots in the city, and we highly recommend it!
Chicken served was literally under 2 oz. What? I had to ask for double chicken cuz the kid that served me seemed like he was paying for the chicken. Didn’t great, no hello no nothing… this place is gong downhill. I used to live this place. Over 15.00 for a bowl with literally half the chicken portion. CAVA and chipotle way better portions. Even Honest Mary’s gives you the right portion for the right price and cheaper than here. Plus they use organic local produce. Not coming here again.
It genuinely makes me sad to write this. Chi'Lantro used to be my ultimate go-to for Korean fusion. Their kimchi fries were legendary, and the bulgogi BBQ tacos—especially the breakfast bulgogi tacos—never disappointed. Unfortunately, they have completely taken the bulgogi BBQ off the menu. I don't understand the decision at all; that dish was the heart of their fusion identity. Without it, it seems like an entirely different restaurant. I really miss the old Chi'Lantro. :(
