I’ve always eaten at the branch in Oakland on Forbes Avenue, and recently moved to cranberry. I was thoroughly excited that there was another Chickn here. I have now had it twice and will never eat at the cranberry one again. I don’t know who’s cooking, but the first time the french fries were cold and the chicken wasn’t spicy whatsoever, even though I ordered it so. The second time I ate there, the chicken was so crispy, I could barely bite into it. I felt like I was eating a rock sandwich. They don’t get a third chance.
Food was cold and the drinks were flat.
The food at Chikn was really good! The chicken was tasty and the portions were solid. The service was pretty good too, and overall it was a great experience. I’d definitely come back, but there’s still a little room for improvement.
