sorry excuse for a restaurant bad/slow service. very unfriendly at times. charge for parking.... rather dirty atmosphere.... I guess thats authentic... save your time/money for any one of the other fine mexican establishments around town.
Ehhhhhhh Food is decent, but the one across town is much better. This one is usually dirty. The staff are hardly ever doing a good job. Not very many friendly people. Love the salsa, though.

LOVE IT! We love this Mexican Restaurant not only because of the good food but the staff is great. When we visit Greenville we make at least one trip to Chicos for dinner and we always buy their HUGE jar of home made salsa to take home. Its the best salsa I have ever had and they give you a very large jar for $12 (you cant beat that). Before your dinner they bring you a basket (all you can eat) of tacos and salsa. Good food Chicos has a festive attmosphere. The place is decorated with Mexican stuff with adds to the experience here. What I love the most about Chicos though is the Mexican Pizza and Fried Ice Cream! Who ever heard of such things you say. Well, the pizza has refried beans, cheeze and other stuff on it. The Fried Ice Cream has chocolate, whipped cream and honey on it...both are a treat that I've only found here.
