The place and the staff are great, everyone I spoke with is nice, and professional. Always quick in and out for appointments.
Update: We later learned my dad was experiencing seizures, not medication side effects. I want to be open about that, and also share that the care he’s received from his specialty doctors has been truly amazing. My experience at the Chico facility has been deeply troubling. There needs to be more awareness to prevent similar incidents in the future. Went in to be seen for prior TBI that started getting worst over time. 7 months into seeing doctors, blood drawn, online visits, and phone calls. This V.A still was UNABLE to get me seen by a specialist! Took them 6 months to finally get me a referral to a TBI specialist. Good luck getting ahold of the TBI specialist, unless you have a full day to wait on the phone, plan breakfast and lunch while being on hold. Overall, I expected much more for my veterans. It’s like the Dollar General version of medi-cal.
