I sued Chickering Rentals…. And WON I rented from Chickering in the 2019-2020 school year and found it ridiculous that my entire security deposit was kept on top of them wanting an additional $11. After a legal battle that started in Aug. 2020, I won restitution of $1,516 from Chickering because they failed to prove they deserved the full amount. Chickering Rentals made finding senior year housing very simple! Very organized company with many amazing houses. They were also very patient when showing us houses and made sure we found one that fit perfectly for our needs!

After signing a lease with Chickering Rentals I was excited about the partnership. The house was well-maintained and Chickering employees were very friendly. While Chickering Rentals communicated well throughout the year, they rarely lived up to their word. A majority of maintenance requests throughout the year were left unresolved and those that were fixed resulted in exorbitantly high fees for things that were not our fault.
