I’ve been going to Chicken Bun Bun at least once a month since they’ve opened because they have my absolute favorite fried chicken sandwich. The meat (I always get dark meat) is always extremely tender and juicy, and I ask for extra sauce every time because it’s so good on EVERYTHING. I’m also a huge fan of their waffle fries because they’re so perfectly crisp on the outside, yet soft on the inside. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t love the food here (and I know quite a few people who are also regulars)
Still one of my favorite chicken sandwiches place. I still think this is better than howling. Flavor is still spot on, even till the next day. Place could use some dusting.
Well… This was my go-to spot. But now they upped the price on the sando by $3, make you pay for the coleslaw (without it, the chicken sando is real dry), and worst of all they lowered the quality of the fry on the chicken. It’s disappointing, I used to call this place “Alhambra’s best kept secret.” I will try one more time in a month, hopefully then I can change this review
