Join us for demonstrations, shop for gifts and sign up for one of our fun “clay date” classes. We built “Chickadees pottery” studio on our daughter’s vacation rental property “Chickadees Cottage” in 2019. She joined us in the studio doing what we love—-making useful and attractive art that you can hold in your hands. George Jetter is the Primary Potter at Chickadees. This was an amazing week away. The grounds are like Shangri-La, and the ceramics and pottery work and training were excellent. Relaxation and amenities were just right. Conveniently located for easy trips to Asheville and Hendersonville. Nearby shopping so we could cook on our own, with lots of choices for restaurants, as well. A delicious Thai restaurant nearby, and we enjoyed Indian food in Hendersonville. We would come back, and probably will come back.
The entire pottery session was great! Very informative, patient, and helpful from start to finish. My family and I appreciate their hard work in helping our candle holders come to life so we can’t wait to see the finished product!
My daughter and I had so much fun making our Christmas village houses. The instructions were straightforward and easy for even a beginner. I would recommend Chickadees to anyone wanting to relax and have fun being creative and will definitely be back!
Our friends gave me this beautiful mug. It has crystals on both sides. Absolutely gorgeous. They said Becky found the quartz in this area, which makes it even better. I'm very impressed with the intricate design and the magical quality of this gorgeous mug. Fabulous!
