Clean, bright, modern and spacious facility with a friendly reception when you enter. I was apprehensive about bringing the stroller in but ended up doing so and there was no need to worry. The outdoor doors have a disability button to open the doors, the elevator fit us fine, and the examination room was so big there was no need for me to have worried. Dr. Semeniuk is good, but his receptionist, not so much. She is .....difficult. The office is supposed to be sending a referral for my child. She claims the doctor does it personally, but it's not getting to the right places, will not pass on messages or check into anything. Forces you to book an appointment, usually 2 months away for a question. Would not book my child for a broken wrist, sprained ankle, nor any other unplanned event the entire time she has worked there. It's like she's making an effort to be uncooperative.
Incredible clinic. Dr Semeniuk has provided wonderful care for our kids over the last four years. Support team has always been very friendly and accommodating over the phone and during our visit. We feel very fortunate to have Chickadee pediatrics in its great location (lots of parking, clean/modern building, easy to navigate with stroller).
Update: Jan 2026 Dr Abobo has continued to provide amazing care to my children for the past 7 years. He has helped us manage complex physical and medical issues, along with routine care, with such empathy and expertise. He has made referrals when needed, and is committed to my children's health. My older three have aged out of pediatric care now, and they genuinely grieved not having Dr Abobo as their doctor any more!
