When I first came in, I was treated for toenail fungus on my big toe. I was prescribed Terbinafine, but I was not informed of any potential side effects. Although I understand I could have done my own research, I believe it is the provider’s responsibility to explain possible risks. No topical options were offered as an alternative, which I now realize could have been a safer first step. Despite taking Terbinafine, my symptoms persisted.
