Pretty pleased. 1st time there. Nice selection super helpful.
Shame on me. I've passed this store several hundred times and never went in. Till last Thursday on advice from my son. What an experience. Filets, ripeness, pork chops, ground meat. But the Italian sausage was my reason for going. The price was reasonable and the quality was outstanding. I left with 12 pounds, bread and a complimentary tomato focaccia bread for my 1st time. Drove up here to buy some Italian sausage based on the recommendation of John Kass’ podcast. Sal was a super nice guy and he took good care of us. Place is a true old school butcher shop. Saw an old man in the back grinding the meat into the casing. Grilled the sausage just a moment ago and it was top notch. Will be back for sure. Worth the trip.
