STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!! Booked a bachelor party 3 weeks in advance. Got a note from Chicago Tiki Boat canceling THE DAY BEFORE THE PARTY, citing COVID as the reason, despite the fact that Chicago has been in the same COVID phase for nearly two months with no changes. People flew in from out of state and quarantined for two weeks to be able to attend this party. Whoa. This front start to finish was a train wreck. Charlsie at Chicago Tiki Boat called me 2 DAYS before my rental and told me that the boat we rented got quintuple booked for the time we wanted by another employee so she just refunded me my money. I was like, "uh, can you maybe try to find a solution to this problem rather than just canceling my rental 2 days before for something that was 0% my fault". We had such a wonderful time and because the lake was kind of rough we ended up going down the Chi River. Beautiful!
RecommendedThe Chicago skyline from the river is fantastic! The crew was very friendly and took good care of us. We brought our beverages and just sat back and enjoyed the ride! A very fun evening with friends!!!
Great crew and amazing service! Capt. William and Troy were very accommodating and taught us a lot about boating in and around Chicago. They made our team outing a blast!
We had a great time! The crew was welcoming and friendly. They really extended themselves to ensure everyone had fun. We had a wide range of ages in our group, from a toddler on up, and there was something for everyone (swimming, water slide, BYOB, music, sight seeing). The views of the city skyline from the boat at night are unparalleled. We made memories and got some really cool pictures with the lake and the city's architecture in the background. Could not have asked for more.
