Dr. Patel was very thorough in explaining what the cause was of my lower back pain and the numbness down my leg. He gave me his opinions about treatment options and the possibility of having an EMG completed in the near future. Doctor believed seeing a specialist at Shirley Ryan Abilitylab for an evaluation and plan of therapy would be the best way to proceed. I 110% have faith in his suggestions and guidance. One thing that was a bit annoying was his resident who came into the exam room was chewing and cracking gum.

Dr Patel is professional, detailed, and thorough. He explains things in laymen’s terms that are easy to understand. He is compassionate with excellent bedside manners. The outcome of my surgery was beyond my expectations and hopes.
Dr. Patel is the BEST of BEST. He did minimal invasive surgery of lumbar laminectomy at L4-L5 by removing cyst which press the nervous for my mom (76 years old) yesterday on Dec 26, 2024. He is an expert with extensive knowledge, experience, love, care and patient. The procedure is very successful and my mom feel much better after surgery immediately on the same day. Dr. Aneesh Patel welcomed me as a new patient at the downtown Chicago location in March of 2024.
