I had such a great experience with Dr. Phelps! His work reflects the precision of a surgeon and the vision of a sculptor — every detail thoughtful, every result harmonious. Dr. Phelps does amazing work. I am proud of my lower blepharoplasty. Also, his staff is very friendly. Shout out to Hayley who is very knowledgeable with non surgical needs. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to have some work done.
I would unfortunately not recommend Dr. Phelps. I had a consult with him which he was 10 minutes late to. The call lasted about 20 minutes (consults are $250). He spent the majority of the call telling me that it gave him anxiety to operate on someone who doesn’t live within driving distance of their office. Pros: He seems competent and like he enjoys his job Cons: $250 consult fee is a bit much, it can only be applied to other surgical procedures. So if you only need one surgery addressed, you lose $250 by not picking him. ADVICE: Maybe see other surgeons before committing money you might not get back. His pricing is above the $4k-9K range for the procedure I was looking into...even with additional add ons its higher than most. They say he's one of the best so I guess that reflects in his pricing.
10 Stars if I could.... this surgery changed my life. I was bothered by bags and dark 'indents' in my eye hollows since my teens. Into my 40's I noticed the wrinkles more and more across the bags, almost cutting the bag in half when I smiled, which also bothered me.
