Great mani/pedi that's relaxing, clean, and affordable too! – I can't help being shocked by one of the reviews on here! I absolutely LOVE this place. It is one of the most relaxing nail salons that I have been to in Chicago. Most nail salons (Asian or American) that I've been to are riddled with unrelaxing noises and leave me wondering if I'll leave there with nail fungus, bacterial infection, or plantar warts! Often they're playing Jerry Springer or some less than interesting talk show on the T.V. The drills are buzzing awa... read more

Horrible! Steer clear!!! – Yes, it looks nice and fancy in that place ....never judge a book by it's cover! My girlfriend who always does my nails just moved to Dallas. So I needed my nails done and thought, wow this looks like a neat nail place. The staff were very snotty to say the least! I told the lady that I wanted a fill- not a full set. She did a fill and charged me $40! This is an "Asian" nail place, they use the cheapest nail products to begin with and most only charge $25 for a fill- $35-$40 for a full set. What a ... read more

Great customer service – I really enjoyed CNC. The customer service was really nice. The atmosphere was great. I didn't feel like I was being rushed. I received a pedicure and it was reasonably priced ( $35 w/ tip). The pedicure wasn't perfect, but I could tell that the lady had done her best to make it look good. All in all a great place to get a relaxing pedicure.

Bad Service, Rude Employees – I received a gift certificate for CNC for my birthday last year. I moved during the course of the year so I was unable to use the gift certificate. I was in chicago for the weekend and I went in to use the gift certificate. The girl who did my pedicure was rude to me the entire time and then I went up to the desk to use the gift certificate and they would not allow me to redeem it because it was expired by a couple days. The expiration date was written in so it's not like their computers wouldn'... read more

Absolutely the best! – I can't say enough good things about CNC. First, the place is immaculate. They offer you a drink when you sit down, always ask how they are doing and if you are happy with your service, and they have all the different sea salts available to you. Just a really service-oriented nail spa. I love the decor, the atmosphere (quiet, except for the movie playing on the plasma wall tv) and how they bring you a magazine if you forget to take one while you're getting your pedi. Absolutely love love love this plac... read more

Great atmosphere with mediocre service – I had hight hopes for CNC. I'm a longtime fan of Nail Bar and am always on the lookout for new nail salons. The atmosphere is great; the room is light and airy and I did enjoy the constant chick-flicks on the television. I received the cheapest ($40!) mani-pedi that I've found in Chicago. I must conclude that their prices are so low because the quality of their work is so run-of-the-mill. The hand and foot massages were okay at best and now, four days later my manicure is chipped and ... read more

very nice, clean – They are very professional here. They offer you drinks (free of course) I got a bottle of diet coke. My manicure was $17, but during the week its $2 less, so $15. They did a really nice job, and the huge plasma is great for watching movies while getting the nails done. I watched Rumer Has It and then Serendipity. Great Place

So cute and reasonable! – I am newly obsessed with CNC! They treat you like a princess there! My french manicure was the best and cheapest (22) that I have had in the city! The scented salts for your hands are so nice, they offer you a plethora of fresh made drinks including fresh fruit sangria and a varierty of specialty teas (I had vanilla cream tea- so delicious). They also give you a GREAT hand massage and hot towels. A huge flat screen faces the manicure area that shows chick-flicks all day long. I will be back for sure... read more

Clean, contemporary nail salon on busy Belmont Avenue. – In Short Windows draped in diaphanous caramel-colored fabric and white couches near the entrance set a welcoming tone at this contemporary manicure spot. Pedicure stations, with white futons for seating, line the perimeter near the back. Eight glass-topped manicure tables fill the center of the room. Spa-worthy manicures and pedicures make up most of the menu, but full waxing services and facials are available as well.
