I’m honestly really disappointed with the experiences I’ve had during my recent stays at this hotel. I’m traveling to Chicago four times this month for work, and I was hoping to find one hotel that I could get familiar with, feel comfortable in, and continue using for future trips. A coworker recommended this property, and I really wanted it to work because the location is convenient and I have always been loyal to the Marriott brand. Great Marriott. Midwestern hospitality. I have mobility problems so I use a rollater to walk. That helped me carry my plate to the table. Great service at Breakfast Buffet. Kathy and Lorenzo were exceptional. I will be back.
Customer service needs improvement. At check-in, the associate made almost no eye contact while explaining hotel info, didn’t ask if I was parking, and I later saw a $15 parking charge even though the app lists $7. I was asked to insert my card with no explanation. Two days before arrival, I called to confirm I needed a tub in a king room and was told most king rooms have tubs. Stayed here with my husband. Comfortable rooms and amazing service, I truly felt special during my stay! :)
Stay was amazing and I reccomend this location to anyone reading this. Service was friendly as hell and everything was above standard in my book. Shoutout to Lorenzo for making my wife and I feel extra special!!!
