Chicago Joes--Oh, No!!!! – Worst service I have ever encountered at a restaurant. I can't believe the staff is still employeed. I can't believe that the place is still in business. Don't think twice. keep driving to the next place.
Old Chicago Atmosphere – I lived near Joe's for several years before I gave it a try and since have become a regular. True, they have a limited menu and once in awhile you get a dish that isn't great, but on the whole, the food is always on par or better than comparative restaurants. over priced garbage! – I went To Chicago Joe's for the first time this weekend and was totally disappointed. The outdoor seating was fun and had a great atmosphere. That is about the best thing I can say. The drinks were watered down. I started off with a rum and pineapple and changed to a margarita, which both tasted like seltzer water. Good Place to Check Out – Although it looks cooler from the outside than it really is, Chicago Joe's is definitely worth stopping in if you live in the area! The ambience is very bar like with booths(which i enjoy!) The food was good, regular stuff. They send good coupons in the mail, but they do have restrictions! Although the service wasn't spectacular, it was in no way horrrible. This place is great for the average person looking for somewhere to have a relaxed meal!
Worst service I have had in Chicago! – We went to this restaurant after passing it several times. We were so excited because it looked like a great local place, and we thought it would be a hidden gem in our neighborhood. Nice outdoors – Great seat outside. Blackend shrimp and salad were better than the fish. A little soggy.... ribs were great, they are the highlight. Didn't sit inside so can't reflect.
