We had a very disappointing experience with Chicago Heating & Cooling and unfortunately cannot recommend this company. In November 2025, we hired them to inspect our furnace and paid more than $3,500 for what we were told was a heat exchanger replacement, which came with a one-year parts warranty. Buyer beware. Communication horrible with this company. Purchased the yearly maintenance package for both of my HVAC units for $498. They were easy to get ahold of and get a response from until I paid them. Took multiple messages to schedule an appointment. Finally, scheduled something on a Friday for Patrick to show up from 1-3pm and took off work to do so. Waited until 3pm and no one showed up. We had a very disappointing experience with Chicago Heating and Cooling and owner Patrick Smith. In November 2025, we hired this company to replace the heat exchanger in our HVAC system after Patrick told us the existing one had failed. We paid over $3,500 for the replacement. A little over five months later, we attempted to contact Patrick for regular maintenance, but he stopped responding to our calls, texts, and emails. I highly recommend! I worked with Patrick. He was able to make it out to me the same day and fix my HVAC issue within minutes. He even took a picture of my rooftop setup for me as a courtesy.
