We had a great experience with Chicago Family Doulas. When I urgently needed to find an overnight doula, they helped match me with one same-day. Every step of the way they have been communicative and helpful. They even helped us figure out invoicing so we could get some of it covered by our insurance. Our doula Malika was fantastic to work with - she did a great job of caring for our newborn, gave us tips about feeding and sleep, and even had our baby sleeping through the night by the end! Anna T did an incredible job supporting our family through the birth process. From meeting with us prior to birth, to discuss birth goals and preferences as well as what to expect in the process, to coaching on positioning in the birthing room and helping me feel heard/ explaining what was going on. I couldn't recommend her and chicago family doulas higher. Firstly, the administrative team at CFD is extremely responsive, professional, and kind. It was very easy to work with them and find the right support for our needs. Secondly, Anna T. was our labor and birth doula, and she was a critical part of my care team.
