What a great evening on the river! CEBC staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The boat was comfortable and very easy to drive. We had 10 adults on a 10 person boat with plenty of room. After living in the city and seeing these boats on the river for YEARS, I don't know what took us so long to give them a try! We will definitely be back.
Awful customer service, extremely rude employees. They didn't honor our reservation and said someone else reserved our boat AFTER we did. And the other group still got the boat with no explanation whatsoever. They didn't care at all about our experience and the fact that we spend 30 min arguing with them. They just gave us a shitty boat with no discounts and sent us to the river... Just bad, mean and impolite people highly unqualified to deal with the public.
Horrible customer service. They changed our reservation without notice because someone else booked our boat after we had reserved it. Didn't apologize for it either. I felt extremely disregarded and disrespected.
It was wonderful the service was good and the people was so polite great view of this beautiful city
Jason was one of the rudest employees we met at the Chicago Boat Company. We looked to pay an extended fee (an additional 2-hour fee). Even though the boat wasn't booked, he wasn't willing to budge (even though his fellow employees were very helpful). I would not recommend working with him specifically in the future. The overall trip was great! (John was a great attendant). We just ran into an awful employee (Jason).
