I will try to make this review as shortas possible, but there is so much to say when it comes to Dr. Clark. My son (2) was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 6 months ago and our lives were flipped upside down. Being the parent of a 2 yearold presents many challenges to begin with, let alone one who was newly diagnosed withtype 1 diabetes. I do not exaggerate when I say Dr Clark gave my daughter her life back. Four 4 years prior to her initial visit with Dr Clark, after adult onset if diabetes type one at age 18, she had been in and out of the ICU over 20 times wrestling with DKA. The medical system simply did not know how to guide her. They lacked the time and interest and made her feel wrong and stupid. Having Dr. Clark as our son's endocrinologist the last year has literally changed our lives. He is an INCREDIBLE doctor in terms of his knowledge but also compassionate and humane to a fault. He is, without question, one of the best doctors we have ever known. Dr. Clarke is an amazing doctor with an incredible ability to teach, explain, and most importantly provide the path to manage diabetes from both a behavioral and medical perspective. Anyone dealing with diabetes would greatly benefit from working with Dr. Clarke.
Any one with diabetes whether type 1 or type needs to have Dr. Clark as your doctor. He is nothing less than a life saver. He has been responsive and professional during the time we have been working together. Our relationship as patient and doctor hearkens back to an earlier time where you felt that your doctor knew you and cared. It is a difficult journey with lots of anxiety but with Dr. Clark's guidance, I feel like I have control and insight that was otherwise missing before I met him.
