Al is the rare contractor that can take completely unspoken, unexpressed ideas that are in your mind and bring them to reality on a project. He was very patient with my need to double and triple-check leveling, and overall was a joy to work with. Al did a full kitchen gut, 10x10’ space that has transformed the space into my wife & I’s ideal. Negative reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, especially if no work was done. This is a company that prides itself on outstanding work, thanks Chicago Custom Remodeling!
We hired CCR to update the connection for a new washer and dryer. Al went above and beyond identifying rotted pipes that affected the plumbing overall. He replaced what needed to be replaced with new PVC pipe drainage and came back to install the washer dryer minutes after delivery. I would definitely hire him again for my next large home project.
Al’s work on our place has been fantastic. Every friend or family member that walks in immediately talks about how our whole place looks brand new. The floors, painting, and the countertops all look terrific and we’re lucky to have him as our general contractor for our spot.
Al and his team were able to quickly help when my rental unit in Pilsen had the heat go out in November. They got it working that same day so our tenants had heat and then gave a great quote (including parts and labor warranties) to replace the furnace, water heater, and air conditioner- which were all over 20 years old.
