They answered my questions in a professional manner and are very polite. They helped me get the proper paperwork filled out and faxed it for me Very attentive and helpful.
Literally wasted my time. They looked at my eyes 3 times and received information about my case from my previous doctor. Waited tell the day of the procedure to tell me I wasnt able to take it. Literally drove 40 miles for this procedure. And took time off work.
Would not recommend visiting if you have access to literally any other options. Dr. Rachel Epstein and her coordinator seemed more concerned with getting me to agree to her clinical trial rather than actually figuring out a treatment plan that worked for me. Pursued a second opinion at a different hospital in Chicago and was able to be scheduled to receive an actual treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Randy Epstein (and his team / staff) at Chicago Cornea Consultants. I had RLE (refractive lens exchange) surgery and, exactly as Dr. Epstein had indicated, it’s been life changing. I was not a candidate for LASIK due to a severe astigmatism (& other issues) , and the RLE with toric , multi-focal IOL restored my near, far and intermediate vision so I no longer need to wear glasses. I have been a patient for one year. When I first visited Dr. R. Epstein my vision was getting very bad and I was convinced I was going to need more surgery as I had where I previously lived. Dr. Epstein took a very different course and recommended me to his associate Dr. Andrzejewski. In short she was amazing and took me through a process whereby I ended up with Scleral Lens.
