I was disappointed after an experience with Ned, who was late for my appointment (coming from Starbucks), blatantly ignored what I asked for & the acrylic nail I didn’t want broke off in a week. He claimed my prior bad experiences with acrylic was because they weren’t done right (not true), was beyond unfriendly & overcharged me (I have messages with the price he said, as I had to book him via IG). This salon is the best. So much that I drive 50 mins away from my house in Miami to come here. Ned is spectacular. The whole experience is a vibe. Ned is extremely talented. He’s great for conversations and also if you just want to stay silent and relax. I do Gel-x nails and a volcano pedicure every time and I love it. The mimosas go hard and are fire. Everyone is so nice and the atmosphere is great. 100/10
The place has a nice ambiance! Upon arrival, I was asked what I wanted and I told the gentleman. I was not offered anything to drink at all. I was told to sit at the bar for my gel manicure. It was the most uncomfortable thing ever! The lady who did my nails was nice but very distracted. Several co workers came up to her with their phones to show her something or talk to her. She left to get the warm bowl of water but stopped and was talking to a client getting a pedicure. I didn’t feel comfortable with everything.
I am beyond obsessed with my nails! Today was my first time here and Johnny was my technician and he is amazing! From the prestigious laying of the acrylic… it was perfectly smooth and he shaped my nails to perfection I was almost tempted to leave them as is before the design because they were so beautiful but then he did the design and I am blown away! Yesterday had a mani-pedi. Barry was my technician. He was wonderful. I enjoyed my services so much. First person to offer me a beverage and showed me how to get a hand massage while sitting in the pedicure chair. He also showed me new products for the next time. Thanks Barry, you’re my guy from now on.
