The PERFECT Bead Store and More! The owners of Chic Beads, Los Alamitos, have treated my entire family like family. The classes are awesome! Most of all, after numerous visits, both owners and employees alike go out of their way to be EXTREMELY helpful and kind. They will go way out of their way to accommodate their customers. Weird Vibe I've spent many hundreds of dollars there, been in many times, and still must agree that this couple exude a weird vibe. Once I asked the gentleman if they would fire my silverclay pieces and he responded "We do it for our friends. I might do it for you if you were a friend." I joked, "Well what do I need to do to become a friend?" and then added that I would be 'quite willing to pay for the service if it were reasonable'. Every little girls dream party place The store not only has a very large selection of do it yourself jewelry, they can also host your little girl's birthday party. They do give classes on jewelry making will all the supplies needed there. This is a very unique idea for a little girl's dream party.
Things have gone downhill Paranoid and mostly motivated by money, money, money. Owner stands there with arms crossed looking for terrorists to rip them off. Since clients have to pay for everything in their store, you are watched like a hawk to make sure you do not use one single bead that is not theirs. Incentive card is minimal to the amount of money one has to spend there. Yes, if you forget it, forget it! Are They Ever Open? The owners are unfriendly to the majority of the customers my self included. The store is closed most times I try to go. I don't understand how they keep their business open because they seem to have a horrible business model.

So creative I love this store. I have had the owner make things for me for Christmas presents (and for myslef) and she does such a great job. It is nice to go in and pick out anything you want and poof there it is. Also, they have classes which I would love to take. Great store, and really nice people.
