My girlfriend and I are new to the area and thought we would try this restaurant. First there was only one other couple in the place on Friday night at @ 9pm. We both ordered a bottle of wine and our meals. The food came out and both meals were bland and the Marsala sauce on mine tasted more like gravy than sauce. I've eaten at Ken's Steak and Rib House twice since it came under new ownership, at the end of January 2007, and both times the food was excellent. The crab cakes are great; they are almost all jumbo lump crab meat. The calamari is tender and the flavor is enhanced with slices of banana peppers. The dessert tray has an impressive selection, with the Jim Bean Banana Supreme cake being my favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant!
