Authentic Chinese A great addition the authentic Chinese food offering in Ann Arbor. This restaurant specializes in Shanghainese and, more and more, Sichuan style Chinese food. The latter means that some of the dishes are spicy! The menu is extensive, so choosing a dish can take some time. In addition, there is both the Americanized menu and the authentic menu. Tasty vegetarian food! Although I loved this place more when the previous owner was in charge, it's still the place to go for great vegetarian food. Sure, they have meat stuff for when you're going out with your meat-eating friends and family, but who cares about that? They can eat Chinese food anywhere. Us vegetarians have to watch out for meat in sauces and gravies, slipped into soups, etc. It makes going out for Chinese food a big pain.
