I am 1 of abt 20 global ambassadors in the rare disease community for acute intermittent porphyria I also have it. I was accused by Tamera J an RN in the emergency room on March first of being an addict when I told her about my specialist and disease she blew me off wouldn’t let me speak and treated me so bad she also left open her computer in my room unattended where I could see every patient in the ER and the reason why they were there I have proof of this HIPPA Violation just not sure how or where to let it be known

The lady at registration was not friendly at all. My client was brought in by ambulance. Paramedics told me to go to registration in er lobby at arrival. I let her know my client had just been brought by ambulance. She asked me her name rudely and stated she was not in system yet but would call me back up after she was added. She told at least 5 others the same thing. I waited patiently for 35 min. During that time, about 5-8 other people sitting in lobby went up to check also. All theses reviews have the same thing in common and that’s the wait times. Currently going on 3hr wait since walking in. It’s 10:50am on a Wednesday with 4 other people waiting. I’ve watched uber eats come and go 3 times. Obviously they are not held accountable for their service and seeing people timely.

I was sent from the Chi Saint Vinca clinic on Albert Pike to the ER to be evaluated for admission for internal bleeding. Test had been run at the Clinic and the Clinician had called ahead to the ER to inform them of my impending arrival. I spent the next 7 hours passing blood waiting to be seen by a Doctor. ER Doctor was in my room less than one minute told me they were going to admit me to Hospital. I was in ER room 5 hours. Ask ever half hour when I was going to a room so I could sleep. Been here for two hours. Not really that busy. One patient is in severe dehydration. She seems to be complerterly ignored
